What I liked best: Full color
detailed diagrams and updated videos.
Earth4Energy, created by Michael
Harvey, advertises itself to be one of the most
comprehensive green products on the market today. It
claims that you can save up to 75% or more on your
electricity bill, and perhaps even break free from the
grid completely. Here's my Earth4Energy review and my
recommendation.
The Earth4Energy Guide
The Earth4Energy manual has been out for many years now, and
it has actually gotten tons of positive reviews. This manual
shows you how to make your own solar panels and how to make
your own windmills. It shows you how to build each of these for
less than $150. In fact it is truly easy to
build a windmill and a solar panel following these instructions
and using a few basic household tools.
All you need are very basic building skills, like you would
need if you had to put together a piece of furniture that you
bought from Wal-Mart or Target and some basic tools.
Diagrams and Videos
While the manual itself is very long, what I liked best were
the full-color diagrams that were very detailed. Also there are
videos available on both building a solar panel and a wind
turbine. The videos along with the diagrams in
the Earth4Energy manual make it very easy to figure out what
you need to do and in what order.
In fact because of this combination of teaching materials I
believe it's one of the most comprehensive projects on the
market today for people who want to build their own
solar panels. As far as cost estimates for building
materials, Michael Harvey claims that you can get most of the
materials for solar panels and wind turbines for less
than $150.
After seeing that most of the materials required are likely
already laying around the house I think that this claim would
be true for most people. However if you have zero tools and
zero building supplies the cost might be slightly more, but it
should still be less then $200.
But this still represents a huge cost savings if you have to
buy solar panels for thousands of dollars, and then go the
extra step of having a professional solar panel installation
performed.
This manual does a great job of explaining how to tie in the
energy created from solar and wind into your household
electrical panel.
Is Earth4Energy a Scam?
Some people have claimed the Earth4Energy is a scam, but I
don't believe this is true. The reason that some people might
believe that this product is a scam is that they think that
they're going to power their whole house off of one little
windmill or small solar panel. There's no way that this is
would be true.
But if you combine a couple of windmills with a couple of
solar panels, then you could dramatically reduce your
electricity bill, but not eliminate it. If you did want to use
Earth4Energy to completely eliminate your electricity
bill and break free from the grid, all you would have to do is
build several windmills and several solar panels. Then you'd
have to have several batteries around to store energy so that
you can use it at night or on days when there is no wind.
If you simply scale up what is shown to you in the
Earth4Energy manual, then it can be done.
Other Information
Refund policy: you have a 60 day
money back guarantee which allows you two months to build solar
panels and windmills.
Customer support: customer support is
e-mail only, and the one e-mail I did send was responded to
fairly quickly so I was happy with that.
Updates: when you buy this product you're
guaranteed lifetime updates of the product, which claims to be
updated regularly. Since I just recently purchased it I do not
know if this is true or not.
Earth4Energy Review Conclusion
Today there are dozens and dozens of green products that all
promise you to show you how to build solar panels and
windmills. Out of all of them, this one appears to be the most
comprehensive simply because it also includes videos as
well.
I highly recommend this product if you are
serious about breaking free from the grid, or if you're just
looking for a great Father's Day gift. In fact
this would be a great way to spend time with your kids and
teach them how to save the environment at the great same
time.
